| 25. Formal Translation Yet you say, “The way of the Lord {Adonai, Sovereign Judge} is not fair {yitakhen: just, upright}.” Hear now, house of Israel: Is My way not fair? Is it not your ways that are unfair? |
| 25. Dynamic Translation But you claim, “The Lord’s way {Adonai, Righteous Arbiter} is not right.” Listen carefully, people of Israel: Is it really My way that is unfair? Are not your own ways unjust? |
