| 27. Formal Translation And when a wicked man turns from his wickedness that he has committed and does justice and righteousness, he will preserve his soul alive. |
| 27. Dynamic Translation When a wicked person turns away from the wrong he has done and chooses to act justly and do what is right, he will save his life. |
