וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ{va-yit-NE-nu###vah-yit-NEH-noo###and they set} עָלָ֥יו{a-LA-v###aa-LAA-v###against him} גּוֹיִ֛ם{go-YIM###goh-YEEM###nations} סָבִ֖יב{sa-VIV###saa-VEEV###around} מִמְּדִינ֑וֹת{mim-me-di-NOT###mihm-meh-dih-NOHT###from provinces} וַֽיִּפְרְשׂ֥וּ{va-yif-re-SU###vah-yihf-reh-SOO###and they spread out} עָלָ֛יו{a-LA-v###aa-LAA-v###over him} רִשְׁתָּ֖ם{rish-TAM###rihsh-TAHM###their net} בְּשַׁחְתָּ֥ם{be-shakh-TAM###beh-shahkh-TAHM###in their pit} נִתְפָּֽשׂ׃{nit-pa-S###niht-paaS###he was caught}
