| 22. Formal Translation But I {Yahweh, Reputation Guardian} withheld my hand and acted for the sake of my name, in order that it would not be profaned before the eyes of the nations, in whose sight I had brought them out. |
| 22. Dynamic Translation However, I {Yahweh, Covenant Upholder} restrained my hand and did this for the sake of my name so that it would not be dishonored in front of the nations, before whose eyes I had led them out. |
