16. Formal Translation Moreover He {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge} said to me, “Son of man, behold, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem, and they will eat bread by weight and with anxiety, and they will drink water by measure and in dismay.” |
16. Dynamic Translation Then He {Yahweh, Sustaining Provider} told me, “Son of man, see—I am going to shatter the staff of bread in Jerusalem. People will eat bread only in weighed portions and in dread, and they will drink water only in strict measure in terror.” |
