Formal Translation Then He sent forth the form of a hand and seized me by a lock of my head, and the Spirit lifted me up between earth and sky, carrying me in visions from God {Elohim, Divine Revealer} to Jerusalem at the entrance of the inner gate that faces north, where the seat of the image of jealousy stood. |

Dynamic Translation He stretched out what appeared to be a hand and grabbed me by a lock of my hair, and the Spirit swept me between earth and sky, bringing me in visions from God {Elohim, Source of Revelation} to Jerusalem at the threshold of the inner gate facing north, where the seat of the idol of jealousy lay, the one that provokes. |
