3. Formal Translation Whoever among you is from all his people, may his God be with him; let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel. He is the God who is in Jerusalem. |
3. Dynamic Translation Whoever among you is from any of his people—may his God be with him—should go up to Jerusalem in Judah and rebuild the temple of the LORD God of Israel. He is the God who lives in Jerusalem. |
