13. Formal Translation However, in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon, King Cyrus issued a decree that this house of God {elah’a, Covenant Ruler} be built. |
13. Dynamic Translation But in the first year Cyrus became king over Babylon, King Cyrus gave an official order that this temple of God {elah’a, Sovereign Lord} be rebuilt. |
