11. Formal Translation You {Yahweh, Divine Commander} commanded through Your servants, the prophets, saying, “The land you are entering to possess is a land of impurity; because of the impurity of the peoples of the lands and their abominations, they have filled it from one end to the other with their uncleanness.” |
11. Dynamic Translation This is what You {Yahweh, Message Giver} commanded through Your prophets: “The land you are about to enter and take is polluted by the corrupt practices of its peoples; from one end to the other they have filled it with their filthiness.” |
