12. Formal Translation Therefore, do not give your daughters to their sons, and do not take their daughters for your sons. Do not pursue their peace or their good forever, so that you may be strong and eat the goodness of the land, and leave it as an inheritance to your sons forever. |
12. Dynamic Translation For this reason, do not arrange marriages between your daughters and their sons, and do not take their daughters for your sons. Do not keep seeking their peace or their benefit, so that you may be strong and enjoy the best the land gives, and pass it on to your sons as a lasting inheritance. |
