13. Formal Translation After all that has come upon us because of our evil deeds and our great guilt, You, our God {Eloheinu, Merciful Judge}, have dealt with us more leniently than our iniquities warranted, and You have given us a remnant. |
13. Dynamic Translation After everything that has happened to us because of our wrong actions and our great guilt, You, our God {Eloheinu, Compassionate Protector}, have not judged us as harshly as our sins merited, and You have enabled us to remain as a remnant. |
