If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and lived for myself. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to save me and lead my life. Let my life point to the Father, and make me new. Amen.

Receive Jesus and Let Your Life Honor God

Lord, revive your church so that our lives lead others to honor you. Make us humble, faithful, and clear in the way we speak and serve. Let people see your goodness in us and give glory to you because of what you have done, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church a Cause for Praise

Father, thank you that you can use ordinary people to bring honor to your name. Thank you for every way your grace works through weakness and still points others to you. Teach me to rejoice when you receive the credit, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Working Through Ordinary Lives

Pray by naming one area of your life that other people can see, then ask God to make that area point to him instead of to your own reputation. Ask him for humility, steadiness, and grace to live in a way that makes his goodness visible.

Pray for a Life That Points Beyond Itself

Pray for: one person whose life could be encouraged by your faith; one place where your conduct could make God look good; courage to live openly so that others are drawn to praise him.

For Someone Who Needs to See God in You

Father, when I want to be noticed, redirect my heart to you. Free me from needing the credit, and help me rejoice when others see your hand at work through me. Keep my focus on your honor more than my image, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
