16. Formal Translation But knowing that a person is not justified from works of law, except through faith in Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Covenant Justifier}, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, in order that we might be justified from faith in Christ, and not from works of law; because from works of law no flesh will be justified. |
16. Dynamic Translation Yet because we know that no one is made right with God by doing the works of the law, but only through faith in Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Saving Messiah}, we also have put our trust in Christ Jesus so that we may be made right with God by trusting Christ and not by doing the law’s works. For no person will ever be put right with God by keeping the law. |
