17. Formal Translation But if, while seeking to be justified in Christ {Christos, Justifying Lord}, we ourselves also were found to be sinners, is Christ then a servant of sin? May it never be! |
17. Dynamic Translation But if, as we are trying to be declared right with God through Christ {Christos, Holy Redeemer}, we ourselves are shown to be sinners, does that make Christ a servant of sin? Absolutely not! |
