20. Formal Translation I have been crucified with Christ {Christos, Crucified Lord}. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God {huios tou theou, Loving Redeemer}, who loved me and gave Himself for me. |
20. Dynamic Translation I have been crucified with Christ {Christos, Sacrificial Redeemer}. I am now alive, yet it is no longer I myself who live; Christ is the One living in me. The life I now live in this body, I live by faith in the Son of God {huios tou theou, Self-Giving Savior}, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. |
