21. Formal Translation Therefore, is the law against the promises of God {Theos, Covenant Promise Giver}? May it never be! For if a law had been given that could make alive, then truly righteousness would have been by the law. |
21. Dynamic Translation So, does the law go against what God {Theos, Faithful Promise-Keeper} promised? Absolutely not! If any law had been given that could bring life, then being right with God would really come from the law. |
