| 2. Formal Translation Sarai said to Abram, “See, the LORD {Yahweh, Controller Of Fertility} has kept me from bearing children. Go in to my maidservant; perhaps I will be built up through her.” Abram listened to Sarai’s voice. |
| 2. Dynamic Translation Sarai said to Abram, “Look, the LORD {Yahweh, Giver Of Offspring} has stopped me from having children. Sleep with my servant girl; maybe I can be built up through her.” Abram agreed to Sarai’s words. |
