Exegesis

The clause ki amrah {כִּי אָמְרָה | kî ʾāmrāh} ‘for she said’ introduces her plea, with al ereh {אַל־אֶרְאֶה | ʾal-ʾer-ʾeh} ‘Let me not see’ intensifying her emotional refusal.
