| 16. Formal Translation She went and sat down by herself, opposite, at a distance like the range of a bow, for she said, “Let me not see the death of the boy.” And she sat opposite and lifted her voice and wept. |
| 16. Dynamic Translation She walked away and sat down across from him, about a bowshot away, saying, “Let me not watch my son die.” Then she sat facing him, raised her voice, and wept. |
