| 3. Formal Translation When all the flocks assembled there, they rolled the stone away from the mouth of the well, gave the flock drink, and then returned the stone to its appointed place. |
| 3. Dynamic Translation After the herds had arrived, the shepherds would push the stone away from the well’s opening, water the sheep, and then return it to its proper spot. |
