| 6. Formal Translation And Esau took his wives, his sons, his daughters, and all the persons of his household, along with his livestock, all his animals, and all his possessions that he had acquired in the land of Canaan; and he departed to another land, away from his brother Jacob. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation Esau packed up his wives, his sons and daughters, everyone in his household, his livestock and other animals, and every possession he had acquired in Canaan; then he moved to a different region, distancing himself from his brother Jacob. |
