12. Formal Translation And Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Restorer} their God and the words of Haggai the prophet, as the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD. |
12. Dynamic Translation Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel, and Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest, together with all the rest of the people, listened and responded to the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Deliverer} their God’s voice and to what Haggai the prophet said, just as the LORD their God had sent him. Then the people stood in awe of the LORD. |
