1. Formal Translation
Since the law has only a shadow of the good things that are coming and not their actual likeness, it is never able, by the same sacrifices offered each year without fail, to bring to full completion those who draw near.
1. Dynamic Translation
The law is merely a shadow, not the genuine form, of the good things on their way. Therefore, by the same sacrifices made again and again every year, it can never truly perfect the people who draw near.
