Isaiah 1:13:2תוֹסִ֗יפוּtosifuyou shall continue or add Isaiah 1:13:3הָבִיא֙havito bring Isaiah 1:13:4מִנְחַת־שָׁ֔וְאminkhateshavea grain offering of emptiness or futility Isaiah 1:13:5קְטֹ֧רֶתketoretincense Isaiah 1:13:6תּוֹעֵבָ֛הtoevaan abomination Isaiah 1:13:7הִ֖יאhiit is Isaiah 1:13:8לִ֑יlito me Isaiah 1:13:9חֹ֤דֶשׁkhodeshnew moon or month Isaiah 1:13:10וְשַׁבָּת֙veshabatand Sabbath Isaiah 1:13:11קְרֹ֣אkerocalling or proclaiming Isaiah 1:13:12מִקְרָ֔אmikraa convocation or assembly Isaiah 1:13:13לֹא־אוּכַ֥לloukhalI am not able Isaiah 1:13:14אָ֖וֶןaveniniquity or trouble Isaiah 1:13:15וַעֲצָרָֽה׃vaatsaraand a solemn assembly
13. Formal Translation
Do not continue to bring an offering of vanity; incense is an abomination to Me {Yahweh, Righteous Judge}. New moon and sabbath, the calling of an assembly—I cannot endure iniquity and solemn assembly.
13. Dynamic Translation
Stop bringing worthless offerings; your incense is hateful to Me {Yahweh, Divine Sovereign}. On new moons, Sabbaths, and your convocations—I cannot bear wickedness alongside sacred gatherings.
