Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Isaiah 10:4:1 ⧉בִּלְתִּ֤יbiltiexcept, only Isaiah 10:4:2 ⧉כָרַע֙kharato crouch or bow down Isaiah 10:4:3 ⧉תַּ֣חַתtakhatunder, beneath Isaiah 10:4:4 ⧉אַסִּ֔ירasira prisoner or captive Isaiah 10:4:5 ⧉וְתַ֥חַתvetakhatand under, and beneath Isaiah 10:4:6 ⧉הֲרוּגִ֖יםharugimthose killed, slain ones Isaiah 10:4:7 ⧉יִפֹּ֑לוּyippoluthey will fall Isaiah 10:4:8 ⧉בְּכָל־זֹאת֙bekholzotin all this, for all this Isaiah 10:4:9 ⧉לֹא־שָׁ֣בloshavhas not turned back, has not returned Isaiah 10:4:10 ⧉אַפּ֔וֹapohis anger, his nose Isaiah 10:4:11 ⧉וְע֖וֹדveodand still, and yet Isaiah 10:4:12 ⧉יָד֥וֹyadohis hand Isaiah 10:4:13 ⧉נְטוּיָֽה׃סnetuyastretched out, extended |
4. Formal Translation Nothing remains except to crouch among the prisoners, or to fall among the slain. For all this, His {Yahweh, Unwavering Judge} anger has not turned back, and still His hand is stretched out. |
4. Dynamic Translation There is nothing left but to crouch with the captives, or to fall with the dead. Even after all this, His {Yahweh, Relentless Authority} anger remains, and His hand is still outstretched. |
