1. Formal Translation
For the LORD {Yahweh, Merciful Restorer} will show mercy to Jacob; He will choose Israel again and bring them back to their own land. The sojourner will attach himself to them, and they will be joined to the house of Jacob.
1. Dynamic Translation
The LORD {Yahweh, Compassionate Redeemer} will have compassion on Jacob and will choose Israel again, settling them back in their ancestral land; foreigners will unite with them and become part of Jacob’s household.
