16. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} said, “Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks and casting glances, walking and mincing as they go and making a tinkling with their feet.” |
16. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Moral Watcher} declared, “Since the women of Zion are proud and hold their heads high, casting wanton glances and jingling their anklets as they move along.” |
