Isaiah 5:9:1בְּאָזְנָ֖יbeoznaiin my ears
Isaiah 5:9:2יְהוָ֣הyahwehLORD Isaiah 5:9:3צְבָא֑וֹתtsevaotof hosts Isaiah 5:9:4אִם־לֹ֞אimloif not or surely not Isaiah 5:9:5בָּתִּ֤יםbatimhouses Isaiah 5:9:6רַבִּים֙rabimmany Isaiah 5:9:7לְשַׁמָּ֣הleshamato desolation Isaiah 5:9:8יִֽהְי֔וּyihheyuthey shall be Isaiah 5:9:9גְּדֹלִ֥יםgedolimgreat or large Isaiah 5:9:10וְטוֹבִ֖יםvetovimand good Isaiah 5:9:11מֵאֵ֥יןmeenfrom there being no or without Isaiah 5:9:12יוֹשֵֽׁב׃yoshevinhabitant or one dwelling
9. Formal Translation
In my ears the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tseva’ot, Divine Commander} has sworn: Surely many houses shall become desolate, great and beautiful ones without a resident.
9. Dynamic Translation
The LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tseva’ot, Supreme Commander} has spoken in my hearing: “Truly, many houses will be left deserted—spacious and splendid, with no one living in them.”
