| 2. Formal Translation He grew up before Him {Yahweh, Sovereign Witness} like a sapling and like a root out of dry ground; he had no form nor majesty, and when we saw Him, there was no appearance that we should desire Him. |
| 2. Dynamic Translation He grew up before the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Appraiser} like a young plant and like a root from dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty that would draw us to Him. |
