5. Formal Translation And I said, “Woe to me, for I am undone; for I am a man of defiled lips, and I dwell among a people of defiled lips. For my eyes have looked upon the King, the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tzvaot, Supreme Commander}.” |
5. Dynamic Translation Then I cried in despair, “I am doomed! My lips are defiled, and I live among a people whose lips are defiled. Yet my eyes have beheld the King, the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tzvaot, Commander of Heaven’s Armies}.” |
