Isaiah 9:12:1אֲרָ֣םaramAram or Syria

12. Formal Translation
Aram from the east and the Philistines from behind devoured Israel with a gaping mouth. In all this, His {Yahweh, Unrelenting Judge} anger has not turned back, and still His hand is stretched out.
12. Dynamic Translation
Aram came from the east, and the Philistines came from the rear, and they consumed Israel with a gaping mouth. Even after all this, His {Yahweh, Steadfast Punisher} anger has not turned back, and His hand is still stretched out.
