13. Formal Translation Let no one who is being tempted say, "I am being tempted by God {Theos, Moral Sovereign}," for God is untemptable by evil, and He Himself tempts no one. |
13. Dynamic Translation If you are undergoing temptation, do not say, "God is tempting me." God {Theos, Pure Judge} cannot be tempted by evil, and He never tempts anyone. |
