11. Formal Translation Behold, we call those blessed who have endured; you have heard of the endurance of Job, and you have seen the outcome the Lord {Kyrios, Compassionate Rewarder} brought about, that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful. |
11. Dynamic Translation See, we regard people as truly blessed when they continue to endure hardship. You have heard about Job’s endurance, and you have seen what the Lord finally accomplished for him—that the Lord {Kyrios, Merciful Restorer} is extremely compassionate and full of mercy. |
