7. Formal Translation Therefore, be patient, brothers, until the coming of the Lord {Kyrios, Returning Master}. Consider the farmer: he waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and he keeps on being patient until the early and late rains come. |
7. Dynamic Translation So then, brothers and sisters, remain patient until the Lord {Kyrios, Victorious Deliverer} comes. Like a farmer who keeps waiting for a valuable crop from the earth, hold on with patience until the early and later rains arrive. |
