Jeremiah 10:20:2שֻׁדָּ֔דshuddadis destroyed Jeremiah 10:20:3וְכָל־מֵיתָרַ֖יvekholmeitaraiand all my cords Jeremiah 10:20:4נִתָּ֑קוּnittakuhave been torn off Jeremiah 10:20:5בָּנַ֤יbanaimy children Jeremiah 10:20:6יְצָאֻ֙נִי֙yetsaunihave gone out from me Jeremiah 10:20:7וְאֵינָ֔םveenahmand they are not Jeremiah 10:20:8אֵין־נֹטֶ֥הennotethere is no one stretching out Jeremiah 10:20:9עוֹד֙odagain or still Jeremiah 10:20:10אָהֳלִ֔יoholimy tent Jeremiah 10:20:11וּמֵקִ֖יםumekimand raising up Jeremiah 10:20:12יְרִיעוֹתָֽי׃yeriotaimy curtains
20. Formal Translation
My tent has been plundered and all my cords are torn apart; my sons have left me and they are no more. There is no one left to stretch out my tent again or to set up my curtains.
20. Dynamic Translation
My shelter is shattered, and every rope has snapped; my children have left me and are gone. There is no one left to pitch my tent or to set up my curtains.
