16. Formal Translation A flourishing olive tree beautiful in form and fruit, the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Namer} called your name. At the sound of a great tumult, He set fire upon it, and its branches have been broken. |
16. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} called you a thriving olive tree lovely in form and fruit. Yet at the roar of a mighty uproar, He set it ablaze, and its branches were shattered. |
