7. Formal Translation For I have persistently warned your fathers in the day I brought them up from the land of Egypt, even until this day—rising early and warning—saying, “Obey My{Yahweh, Persistent Covenant Witness} voice.” |
7. Dynamic Translation From the very day I brought your ancestors out of Egypt, I have kept on warning them, again and again, right up to this day. I have said, “Listen to My{Yahweh, Patient Instructor} voice.” |
