Jeremiah 14:6:1וּפְרָאִים֙uferaimand wild donkeys
Jeremiah 14:6:2עָמְד֣וּamedustood Jeremiah 14:6:3עַל־שְׁפָיִ֔םalshefayimon bare heights Jeremiah 14:6:4שָׁאֲפ֥וּshaafuthey panted Jeremiah 14:6:5ר֖וּחַruakhfor wind or breath Jeremiah 14:6:6כַּתַּנִּ֑יםkatannimlike jackals Jeremiah 14:6:7כָּל֥וּkaluthey were spent or failed Jeremiah 14:6:8עֵינֵיהֶ֖םenehemtheir eyes Jeremiah 14:6:9כִּי־אֵ֥יןkienbecause there is not Jeremiah 14:6:10עֵֽשֶׂב׃esevvegetation or grass
6. Formal Translation
And the wild donkeys stood on the heights; they snuffed the wind like jackals; their eyes failed because there was no grass.
6. Dynamic Translation
The wild donkeys stood out on the hilltops, gasping for air {ruach: wind, breath} like jackals; their eyes grew weak because there was no grass.
