18. Formal Translation
Why has my pain been perpetual, and my wound incurable, refusing to be healed? Will You {Yahweh, Covenant-Keeper} surely be to me like a deceptive brook, waters that are not trustworthy?
18. Dynamic Translation
Why is my suffering never-ending and my injury so severe it cannot be healed? Will You {Yahweh, Steadfast One} really be like a dried-up river, waters that cannot be counted on?
