Formal Translation And it will happen that when they say to you, “Where shall we go out?” then you shall say to them, “Thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge}: Whoever is for death, to death; and whoever is for the sword, to the sword; and whoever is for famine, to famine; and whoever is for captivity, to captivity.” |

Dynamic Translation When they ask you, “Where should we go?” you will answer them, “This is what the LORD {Yahweh, Ultimate Decider} says: Whoever is destined for death will go to death, whoever is set for the sword will go to the sword, whoever is marked for famine will go to famine, and whoever is bound for captivity will go into captivity.” |
