| 21. Formal Translation Thus says the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Instructor}: "Guard yourselves diligently for the sake of your lives, and do not carry any burden on the Sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem." |
| 21. Dynamic Translation This is what the LORD {Yahweh, Law Giver} says: "Watch out for your well-being, and do not carry loads on the Sabbath day or bring them through the gates of Jerusalem." |
