The apodosis comprises two parallel infinitive constructs in purpose clauses: levilti havi massa {לְבִלְתִּי הָבִיא מַשָּׂא | lə-ḇil-tî hā-ḇîʾ mas-śāʾ} and u-leqaddesh et-yom hashabbat {וּלְקַדֵּשׁ אֶת־יוֹם הַשַּׁבָּת | ū-lə-qad-dēš ʾet-yōm ha-šab-bāṯ}.
