Jeremiah 18:8:1וְשָׁב֙veshavand turns back or returns
Jeremiah 18:8:2הַגּ֣וֹיhagoythe nation Jeremiah 18:8:3הַה֔וּאhahuthat Jeremiah 18:8:4מֵרָ֣עָת֔וֹmeraatofrom its evil Jeremiah 18:8:5אֲשֶׁ֥רasherwhich Jeremiah 18:8:6דִּבַּ֖רְתִּיdibartiI spoke Jeremiah 18:8:7עָלָ֑יוalavagainst it or concerning it Jeremiah 18:8:8וְנִֽחַמְתִּי֙venikhamtithen I will relent or be moved to pity Jeremiah 18:8:9עַל־הָ֣רָעָ֔הalharaaover the calamity or the evil Jeremiah 18:8:10אֲשֶׁ֥רasherwhich Jeremiah 18:8:11חָשַׁ֖בְתִּיkhashavtiI intended or I planned Jeremiah 18:8:12לַעֲשׂ֥וֹתlaasotto do Jeremiah 18:8:13לֽוֹ׃סloto it or to him
8. Formal Translation
And if that nation turns from its evil, which I have spoken concerning it, then I will relent concerning the evil which I intended to do to it.
8. Dynamic Translation
But if that nation turns back from the wrongdoing I warned about, then I will hold back from the disaster that I had planned for it.
