| 8. Formal Translation And if that nation turns from its evil, which I have spoken concerning it, then I will relent concerning the evil which I intended to do to it. |
| 8. Dynamic Translation But if that nation turns back from the wrongdoing I warned about, then I will hold back from the disaster that I had planned for it. |
