Formal Translation Thus says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tseva’ot, Commander of Armies}, the God of Israel {Elohei Yisra’el, National Protector}: Behold, I am bringing upon this city and upon all its towns all the disaster that I have spoken against her, because they have hardened their neck so as not to listen to My words. |

Dynamic Translation This is what the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tseva’ot, Mighty Commander} and the God of Israel {Elohei Yisra’el, Israel’s Defender} says: “Look, I am about to bring on this city and all its villages every kind of trouble that I promised, because they have stiffened their necks and refused to hear My words.” |
