Jeremiah 2:28:1וְאַיֵּ֤הveayeand where
Jeremiah 2:28:2אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙elohekhayour gods Jeremiah 2:28:3אֲשֶׁ֣רasherthat Jeremiah 2:28:4עָשִׂ֣יתָasitayou made Jeremiah 2:28:5לָּ֔ךְlakhfor yourself Jeremiah 2:28:6יָק֕וּמוּyakumulet them arise Jeremiah 2:28:7אִם־יוֹשִׁיע֖וּךָimyoshiukhaif they will save you Jeremiah 2:28:8בְּעֵ֣תbeetin the time of Jeremiah 2:28:9רָעָתֶ֑ךָraatekhayour trouble Jeremiah 2:28:10כִּ֚יkifor Jeremiah 2:28:11מִסְפַּ֣רmisparnumber Jeremiah 2:28:12עָרֶ֔יךָarekhayour cities Jeremiah 2:28:13הָי֥וּhayuthey were Jeremiah 2:28:14אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָelohekhayour gods Jeremiah 2:28:15יְהוּדָֽה׃סyehudaJudah
28. Formal Translation
But where are your gods that you have made for yourself? Let them arise if they can save you in your time of calamity, O Judah; for you have as many gods as towns.
28. Dynamic Translation
So where are the gods you made for yourselves? Let them get up and rescue you, if indeed they can, when hardship strikes; for you have as many gods as towns, Judah.
