Exegesis

venikcha {אוּלַי יְפֻתֶּה…וְנ֣וּכְלָה…וְנִקְחָ֥ה | ʾû-lay yə-phut-teh…wə-nûḵ-lā(h)…wə-niq-ḥāh} ‘perhaps he will be enticed… and we will prevail… and let us take’ creates a progression from enticement to conquest to vengeance, heightening dramatic tension.
