Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Jeremiah 23:34:1 ⧉וְהַנָּבִ֤יאvehanaviand the prophet Jeremiah 23:34:2 ⧉וְהַכֹּהֵן֙vehakohenand the priest Jeremiah 23:34:3 ⧉וְהָעָ֔םvehaamand the people Jeremiah 23:34:4 ⧉אֲשֶׁ֥רasherwho Jeremiah 23:34:5 ⧉יֹאמַ֖רyomarwill say Jeremiah 23:34:6 ⧉מַשָּׂ֣אmasaa burden or oracle Jeremiah 23:34:7 ⧉יְהוָ֑הyahwehof the LORD Jeremiah 23:34:8 ⧉וּפָקַדְתִּ֛יufakadtiand I will attend to or punish Jeremiah 23:34:9 ⧉עַל־הָאִ֥ישׁalhaishupon the man Jeremiah 23:34:10 ⧉הַה֖וּאhahuthat Jeremiah 23:34:11 ⧉וְעַל־בֵּיתֽוֹ׃vealbetoand upon his house |
| 34. Formal Translation And as for the prophet and the priest and the people who say, "The burden of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Communicator}," I will punish that man and his house. |
| 34. Dynamic Translation If even a prophet, a priest, or any of the people says, "This is the message from the LORD {Yahweh, Message Giver}," I will take action against that person and his home. |
