20. Formal Translation Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Sovereign Judge}: Behold, my anger and my wrath will be poured out upon this place, upon man and beast, upon the trees of the field and upon the fruit of the ground; it will burn and will not be quenched. |
20. Dynamic Translation So this is what the Lord GOD {Adonai Yahweh, Righteous Ruler} says: Look, my anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place—on people and animals, the trees in the fields, and the crops of the land. It will burn and never be put out. |
