Job 1:12:1וַיֹּ֨אמֶרvayomerand he said
Job 1:12:2יְהוָ֜הyahwehthe LORD Job 1:12:3אֶל־הַשָּׂטָ֗ןelhasatanto the Satan or the accuser Job 1:12:4הִנֵּ֤הhinebehold Job 1:12:5כָל־אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ֙kholasherloall that is to him or that he has Job 1:12:6בְּיָדֶ֔ךָbeyadekhain your hand Job 1:12:7רַ֣קrakonly Job 1:12:8אֵלָ֔יוelavto him or against him Job 1:12:9אַל־תִּשְׁלַ֖חaltishlakhdo not send forth or do not stretch out Job 1:12:10יָדֶ֑ךָyadekhayour hand Job 1:12:11וַיֵּצֵא֙vayetseand he went out Job 1:12:12הַשָּׂטָ֔ןhasatanthe Satan or the accuser Job 1:12:13מֵעִ֖םmeimfrom with Job 1:12:14פְּנֵ֥יpenethe face of or the presence of Job 1:12:15יְהוָֽה׃yahwehthe LORD
12. Formal Translation
The LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge} said to the adversary, “Behold, everything that is his is in your hand; only, against him do not stretch out your hand.” Then the adversary went out from the presence of the LORD.
12. Dynamic Translation
Then the LORD {Yahweh, Restraining King} said to the accuser, “Look, all he has is under your authority, but you must not lay a hand on him.” So the accuser went out from the presence of the LORD.
