5. Formal Translation When the days of feasting were completed, Job would send for them and sanctify them. Rising early in the morning, he offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all, for Job said, “Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God {Elohim, Worthy of Reverence} in their hearts.” Job did this continually. |
5. Dynamic Translation After each round of feasts ended, Job {Iyov, Constant Intercessor} would summon them and purify them. He would rise early and present a burnt offering for each one, thinking, “It may be that my sons sinned and cursed God {Elohim, Righteous Judge} inwardly.” He kept this practice all the time. |
